Responsibilities Driving a 3.5‑tonne van to deliver a variety of products to customers’ doorsteps on‑time and in good condition.
Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, roadworthy and that delivery cases are secure before setting off.
Serving customers with enthusiasm, answering questions and informing them of any delays.
Learning to use new technology effectively and driving a large vehicle across residential streets and country lanes.
Assisting in maintaining stockroom or shop floor operations when not on the road.
Building deep knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide helpful recommendations.
Maintaining a friendly, professional presence as the face of Argos when delivering to customers.
Proficiently driving large vehicles in varied environments, including busy streets and narrow lanes, and delivering to a range of residential locations.
Working efficiently in a fast‑paced, physical, high‑energy environment, using initiative to solve problems, often independently while also thriving in a team.
Being flexible and productive across the store when needed, leveraging training to learn new skills.
Embracing new digital tools and technology in the delivery process.
