Nectar360 is a fast-growing and dynamic business, helping brands connect with customers through insight-led, customer-focused media solutions. Within the Argos Client Services team, you’ll be part of an exciting area that is shaping the future of retail media across one of the UK’s most recognised digital and general merchandise retailers. The team works closely with Argos commercial teams, suppliers and wider Nectar360 colleagues to deliver impactful campaigns across on-site, off-site, above-the-line and targeted channels, helping suppliers reach customers in more relevant and effective ways. It’s a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking team where you can play a key role in driving revenue, building strong partnerships and developing innovative retail media solutions.

As Senior Client Manager, you’ll take ownership of a key general merchandise business unit, working with Argos buyers, commercial teams and supplier partners to deliver customer-centric media and activation plans. You’ll be responsible for developing collaborative relationships with a range of suppliers, understanding their priorities and helping them get the best possible value from the Argos media suite.

Day to day, you’ll lead the delivery of commercial plans that support shared revenue targets, ensuring activity is well planned, effectively executed and aligned to customer and business objectives. You’ll monitor campaign and supplier performance against agreed metrics, use data and insight to identify opportunities, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders. This role also includes line management responsibility for one or two colleagues, giving you the opportunity to support, coach and develop others while contributing to the success of the wider category team. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, evolving retail media environment, where strong commercial judgement, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be key. You’ll work across teams to optimise performance, improve ways of working and support the continued growth of Nectar360’s partnership with Argos suppliers.

You’ll bring strong client management experience, ideally gained within retail, FMCG, general merchandise, media or a similarly commercial environment. You’ll be confident building trusted relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, using your commercial understanding to shape plans that deliver value for customers, suppliers and the business. You’ll be comfortable working with performance data, translating insight into clear recommendations and using this to influence decisions. You’ll also be someone who can work at pace, manage competing priorities and respond positively to change or ambiguity. With an ownership mindset, you’ll take accountability for delivery, anticipate risks and look for opportunities to improve performance and ways of working. As a line manager, you’ll be able to support others through clear guidance, coaching and regular feedback. You’ll bring a collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to challenge, negotiate and influence where needed, helping the team deliver strong outcomes in a growing and competitive retail media landscape.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience managing client, supplier or stakeholder relationships in a commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to build and deliver commercial plans that support revenue, customer or business objectives.
  • Experience using performance data or campaign metrics to monitor progress, identify opportunities and share recommendations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with evidence of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing priorities, risks and deadlines in a fast-paced or changing environment.

We also recognise and celebrate colleagues when they go the extra mile and, where possible, offer flexible working. When you join our team, we’ll also offer you an amazing range of benefits. Here are some of them:

  • Starting off with colleague discount, you'll be able to get 10% off at Sainsbury's, Argos, TU and Habitat after 4 weeks. This increases to 15% off at Sainsbury’s every Friday and Saturday and 15% off at Argos every pay day.
  • We've also got you covered for your future with our pensions scheme and life cover.
  • You'll also be able to share in our success as you may be eligible for a performance-related target bonus of up to 10% of salary (which may vary for Nectar360), depending on how we perform.
  • Your wellbeing is important to us too. You'll receive an annual holiday allowance and you can buy additional holiday.
  • We also offer other benefits that will help your money go further such as season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, health cash plans, pay advance (where you can access some of your pay before pay day) as well access to a great range of discounts from hundreds of other retailers.
  • And if you ever need it there is also an employee assistance programme.
  • Moments that matter are as important to us as they are to you which is why we give up to 26 weeks’ pay for maternity or adoption leave and up to 4 weeks’ pay for paternity leave.

We’d all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That’s waiting for you at Sainsbury’s.
