Overview
In this fixed-term role, you lead the programme management lifecycle across transformation initiatives with a focus on Logistics.
You’ll govern change within a unified master plan, run change forums, and deliver decision-ready reporting up to the Argos Board.
You’ll own programme controls, dependencies, benefits tracking, and data integrity in Planview, while coaching two direct reports and maturing a high-performing team.
This role offers cross-functional impact across Property, Procurement, Technology, Digital, Finance and more, enabling safer, faster delivery of business outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Lead the programme management lifecycle and continuous improvement framework across transformation activity.
- Govern change through prioritisation, sequencing, and a unified master programme plan.
- Design and run change forums, establish escalation paths, and resolve blockers.
- Provide decision-ready reporting for audiences from working groups to the Board.
- Own programme-level controls including planning, dependencies, risks, resourcing, and benefits.
- Maintain change heatmaps and ensure data/documentation quality in Planview.
- Partner with Finance on financial and non-financial benefits.
- Coach two direct reports and build programme maturity through standards and training.
- Key requirements
- Experience designing and embedding governance, reporting, planning, dependencies, resourcing, scope, risks and issues.
- Experience producing MI, dashboards, and updates for Board-level stakeholders.
- Applied knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycles and methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
- Experience leading major cross-functional transformation and influencing multiple functions.
- Ability to define and track financial and non-financial benefits linked to customer, cost, and performance measures.
