Overview
In this role you will act as a strategic finance partner to the Argos Technology leadership, shaping financial decisions and investment case development. You’ll manage end-to-end financial performance across technology spend and BAU costs, delivering high-quality management information and ensuring governance and policy compliance. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive better decisions and influence growth in a fast-paced retail-tech environment. Responsibilities
- Act as strategic finance business partner to the Argos Technology senior leadership team
- Develop financial models to support business cases and investment decisions
- Oversee management information delivery and contribute to corporate planning and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and maintain high governance standards
- Manage end-to-end financial performance visibility for the relevant area
- Support the development of robust financial plans for growth and value realization
- Drive improved decision-making through high-quality analysis and stakeholder engagement
Key requirements
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Commercial finance business partnering experience in a large FMCG, retail, food, technology, or similar complex environment
- Advanced Excel with financial modelling and risk-aware analysis
- Demonstrated stakeholder management across multiple functions
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data to inform senior decisions
