Overview
In this role you will lead the change management and adoption program for Sainsbury's AI Centre of Excellence, driving responsible, measurable AI adoption across the business. You will build awareness and trust, shape the adoption narrative, and enable colleagues to use AI safely in daily work. You will collaborate across Data & Analytics, Technology, Change & Transformation and broader teams to run stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness and adoption measurement, with a focus on tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver Change Management & Adoption methodologies for the AI CoE and AI initiatives across Sainsbury's
- Support Head of AI CoE with change plan activities: stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, training, readiness, communications and engagement
- Lead the vision and narrative for AI adoption that resonates across all levels
- Drive cross-organisational AI adoption and raise the CoE profile internally (intranet, knowledge base, guidance, FAQs)
- Plan and execute proactive communications, events, showcases and success stories to build AI awareness and confidence
- Identify cultural and behavioural barriers and design change interventions to address them
- Foster collaboration via AI communities of practice and champion networks; run company-wide AI events
- Define and monitor adoption-focused KPIs and simple dashboards; adjust change activities as needed
- Produce high-quality change materials (presentations, training, communications)
- Ensure alignment of change activities with AI Governance and Assurance for safe adoption
- Provide guidance to senior stakeholders as a Business Change SME and influence AI strategy and deliverables
Key requirements
- Highly experienced in Change Management roles
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex change initiatives with AI or similar spaces
- Experience embedding cultural/organizational change
- Ability to own projects from initiation to delivery and manage ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and motivational skills
- Familiarity with AI tools, maturity models and AI fluency
