With a focus on partnership, innovation, and continuous improvement, you will have the chance to make a significant impact and drive positive change in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.What you'll doYou will play a critical role in partnering with the Business Planning team to drive the Annual Plan process, ensuring alignment and clear communication across Finance for 'one-version-of-the-truth' reporting. You will lead the adoption of the Project Delivery Framework, utilising tools like Planview to draw insightful narratives from the Transformation portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities, and dependencies to support decision-making at key leadership boards. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships across various stakeholders to drive consistent reporting, constructive challenge, and valuable insights, ultimately contributing to strategic decision-making and value protection within the business.Who you areYou are a professionally qualified accountant with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail. With your strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments, you excel in translating financial data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and protect business value. Your resilience, relationship-building capabilities, and storytelling prowess enable you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders of varying backgrounds, ensuring alignment, consistency, and constructive challenge across transformation activities. Your autonomy, prioritisation skills, and problem-solving abilities make you a valuable asset in leading the annual planning process, promoting the adoption of project management tools, and driving continuous improvement within the Finance function.Essential CriteriaProfessionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)Demonstrable experience using Excel and PowerPoint to analyse, interpret and present financial or business informationEvidence of translating complex financial and business concepts into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non-finance stakeholdersProven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across a range of seniority levels and commercial or financial backgroundsDemonstrable ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, solve problems and deliver outcomes within changing or ambiguous environmentsEvidence of producing accurate, high-quality outputs with a high level of attention to detail#LI-CE1We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer, so you’ll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work.
