In this Staff Product Manager role, you own the vision and strategy for high-value logistics products that power Sainsbury's Food Network. Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision, strategy, roadmap and backlog for high-value logistics products
- Prioritize work to maximise business value and return on capital in line with corporate plan commitments
- Communicate the product experience and long-term benefits to diverse audiences including engineers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture to manage integration complexity and align on decisions
- Apply data, research and technical product knowledge to maximise customer and business impact
- Manage risk and prioritise development with complex and sensitive information
- Champion tech standards within roadmaps and explain merits to stakeholders
- Advocate for Agile software development and iterative value delivery
- Stay informed on industry trends and act as subject-matter expert for your products
- Evaluate partner relationships and potential third-party technology and vendors
- Own products through their lifecycle, including incident resolution and production issue prioritisation
- Maintain awareness of product stacks/interfaces to ensure seamless customer and colleague experiences
Key requirements
- Master level of product management process
- Proven track record delivering highly complex tech-led change at scale
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain, especially Logistics tech
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at senior levels
- Working knowledge of technology relevant to Logistics
