Eligibility

  • Contract Hours: We offer a variety of contracts, typically ranging from 12 to 24 hours per week, including weekend shifts. Specific working patterns will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Interview Location: Interviews for this vacancy will be held at our Lincoln Supermarket, Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QN.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves tidy and well-presented.
  • Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, supporting with questions, and proactively offering help.
  • Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
  • Date checking fresh produce and grocery products.
  • Help across the store as needed and support deliveries as required.

Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same and food is our passion. As one of our Trading Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility

  • You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (School leaving age – GOV.UK)
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
  • If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age.
