Offering great service in one of our in-store Travel Money bureaus, you’ll be part of our Winning Team – where you can really be the difference. You’ll be the face of Travel Money for Sainsbury\’s Bank, building good relationships with customers and providing friendly service that keeps them coming back. Attention to detail is essential for handling currency. You’ll be running the bureau on your own most of the time, with a close-knit team around you and the ability to make decisions confidently. Training is provided if you don’t have a background in finance or cash handling, but you should love helping people, have a good eye for detail, and be comfortable working with large amounts of money and figures.
Responsibilities
- Handle currency and manage cash with a strong attention to detail.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide friendly service.
- Operate the Travel Money bureau, often working independently, while collaborating with the team when needed.
Qualifications
- Background in finance or cash handling is ideal but not essential.
- Strong customer service focus with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large sums of money and figures.
- Willingness to undergo DBS and credit checks as required by the role.
