What you’ll do
As a Commercial Manager within Smart Charge, you will lead the delivery and optimisation of our business growth strategy. You will be responsible for the commercial performance of Smart Charge, identifying opportunities to expand market share and profitability. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing strategic plans, negotiating commercial agreements, and expanding partnerships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and lead key growth initiatives that shape the future of our brand. You will also support budgeting and forecasting activities, define pricing and promotional strategies, and contribute to the Sainsbury’s Group’s sustainability objectives. This role offers access to a dedicated support team and industry-leading resources to help you succeed.
Who you are
You are a commercially minded individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial, market, and customer data. You bring a high level of commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a clear understanding of P&L drivers. You have excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a proven track record of building strategic partnerships and influencing stakeholders. You thrive in dynamic environments, proactively manage your workload, and demonstrate flexibility and innovation in your approach. Experience in the EV market is desirable but not essential. You are committed to personal development and embrace change with resilience and curiosity.
