About SailPoint
SailPoint is the leader in identity security for the cloud enterprise. Our identity security solutions secure and enable thousands of companies worldwide, giving our customers unmatched visibility into the entirety of their digital workforce, ensuring workers have the right access to do their job – no more, no less. Built on a foundation of AI and ML, our Identity Security Cloud Platform, Atlas delivers the right level of access to the right identities and resources at the right time—matching the scale, velocity, and changing needs of today’s cloud-oriented, modern enterprise.
About the team
You’ll be leading a new, UK-based, remote engineering team, helping design and build capabilities for the Atlas platform. The new team will have a backend focus and will collaborate closely with the existing teams. We usually have a one- or two-day, in-person meetup with the other UK remote engineering teams once per quarter.
The role
We are ramping up a new initiative to build a platform service that will allow our applications to define policies, make decisions, and react to changes based on a combination of historical and near real-time data in our Identity Graph. We’re designing for many millions of identities and, in some cases, low millisecond response times, to make critical access decisions. You’ll be leading your team and helping them perform at their highest levels. In a typical day, you might be project planning, recruiting, enabling personal development, building inter-team relationships or supporting the agile Software Development Lifecycle. In 90 days, you’d be on-boarded, and leading your team through the forming and storming phases. In 6 months, you’d be enabling your team to lift from norming to performing, aligned with a particular area of the new platform service. In 1 year, having led your team through the cadence of a business year, you’d be looking to the future, planning for the continued growth of your team.
