Role Summary: This role will be remote, locally based in the UAE but working closely with the teams in London HQ and NYC. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented MENA Corporate and Hospitality Sales Associate to join our Global Corporate and Hospitality Sales team. In this role, the Associate will support the sale of corporate ticket packages, local hospitality programs, local event sponsorship activations, and bespoke experience programs across the Middle East races. This position will focus on executing always-on, proactive, outbound sales efforts, creating local and regional pipeline development, and assisting in revenue generation across regional races. Success in this role will be measured by individual sales contributions, pipeline, and overall team revenue performance. The Associate will help develop sales materials, conduct outreach to prospective clients, and support relationship-building efforts across industries, including regional businesses and corporate entities, large private parties, and relevant industries. You will work closely with the Community team who manage our Yacht Club, marina and community relationships. The role may include travel to race cities to support local corporate sales initiatives and on-site activation efforts. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally well-organized, proactive and driven sales professional who is eager to build relationships and positively represent SailGP to stakeholders. This role reports to the Head of Global Ticket Sales based in the UK and will support regular sales reporting, including pipeline updates and performance tracking. The candidate must be an expert in CRM based sales process, including data entry, systematized follow up, and detailed tracking of pipeline development from outreach to invoice. A background in hospitality sales and premium experiences is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound leads
- Support the development of sales presentations and proposals tailored to corporate prospects
- Assist in client communications and negotiations to help close deals and meet revenue targets
- Maintain and update CRM systems to track pipeline activity, reporting, and performance metrics
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients to support renewals
- Conduct market research on ticket and hospitality sales trends, competitor offerings, and regional demand
- Collaborate with Marketing to support targeted campaigns promoting ticket and hospitality opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth contract handoff and successful event-day execution
Basic Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in ticket sales, hospitality, events, or the sports industry
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience building and supporting client relationships, ideally including corporate or VIP clients
- Ability to assist in negotiations and contribute to closing sales
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking software
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing or event teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Please note that this role is offered on a monthly contractor basis rather than a permanent employment contract.
