Catering Manager (Contractor)

Summary:
We\’re seeking a contractor to support our onsite staff catering operations, managing the catering execution during SailGP event periods (roughly 8 days per event) and contributing to pre-event planning at least two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:

• Global Supplier staff catering agreement management (relationship, deliverables, standards, protocol management, documentation control)
• Interdepartmental specifications alignment. (Structure, cool room, kitchen equipment hire, front of house spec)
• Operational briefing and progression management.
• Zone ownership of tech catering hub, race stadium catering hub, and on-water logistics operations.
• Venue operations coordination with relevant areas (Cleaning, power, wifi, etc.),
• Catering Software module management. (ongoing development)
• Attendance forecast, invoicing and financial reporting after events.
• Liaison with Team services lead for teams\’ requirements and feedback implementation. Performance nutrition program development.
• Crew catering timeline, data gathering and meal planning per event
• KPIs tracking, reporting and control.

About You:

• Experience managing global catering suppliers and service agreements
• Strong onsite operations and logistics coordination skills
• Confident in cross-functional collaboration (e.g., venue services, equipment, tech)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Location:
As this is a contractor role, the individual can work remotely from any location; however, with a preference for candidates to be based in the UK or Europe to align with the time zones of our wider team.
Please note: This role will involve international travel to events, weekend and flexible working due to the onsite delivery element of the role.
