We are not your average law firm. Sail Legal is a fast-growing, tech-forward conveyancing practice that believes there is a better way to do things. We are building a team of people who are excellent at their craft, passionate about client experience, and genuinely excited about being part of something different. If you have been quietly frustrated by the way conveyancing has always been done and you want to be part of changing it, read on.
The role:
- You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters - sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers - from instruction through to completion.
- You will work within a supportive team that takes compliance seriously without letting it become a barrier to doing great work.
- This is a role with genuine progression. We are growing quickly and we promote from within. The right person will move into a team leader position as the business expands - this is not a promise we make lightly.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years managing your own residential conveyancing caseload independently.
- Confident across freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Strong on compliance and AML - we are hot on getting this right.
- Equally strong on client communication - our clients are often going through difficult times and need a human as much as a lawyer.
- Curious about technology and open to doing things differently.
- CILEx, CLC licence or law degree preferred but not essential if your experience speaks for itself.
What we offer:
- Up to £45,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for an outstanding candidate.
- Hybrid working with a couple of days per week in our Weston-super-Mare office, which is in a beautiful rural location (UK driving licence and own transport essential).
- A genuinely exciting place to work - small enough that your contribution is visible, growing fast enough that the opportunities for career advancement are real.
- Company pension, Medicash and on-site parking.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus an extra day off on your birthday.
