We are growing and looking for a specialist who understands Transfer of Equity and Assent transactions inside out. If you are confident drafting TR1s and Assents, submitting SDLT, dealing with lender consent, and managing Land Registry applications without hand-holding, we want to hear from you. Duties:
- Prepare and review legal documentation related to property transactions, including contracts and transfer deeds.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transfers.
- Conduct title searches and verify ownership details using relevant databases and systems.
- Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with external agencies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain organised records of all transactions and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide clear communication updates to clients regarding the progress of their cases.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing deadlines to ensure timely completion of cases.
Requirements:
- Conveyancing Experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and organisational tools.
- Fluency in English with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience or knowledge of property law or conveyancing processes is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
