About the Role
SymphonyAI is seeking a dynamic and people-centric Manager – Human Resources to support our growing organization. This role is a unique blend of HR Operations and HR Business Partnering, responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle—from hire to retire—while delivering an exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence with strong business partnering capabilities, serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees while ensuring seamless execution of HR programs, policies, and processes. We are particularly interested in candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days of accepting an offer.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to drive people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Coach managers on people-related matters and help foster a high-performance culture.
- Support workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and employee-related matters.
- HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Ensure a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the hire-to-retire journey.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across HR programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Coordinate and validate monthly payroll inputs to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Partner with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, and statutory benefits.
- Support benefits enrollment, claims management, and employee communication related to benefits programs.
- Background Verification & Compliance
- Oversee employee background verification processes and ensure timely completion prior to onboarding.
- Coordinate with background verification vendors and hiring teams to address discrepancies and exceptions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to employee records and HR processes.
- Employee Experience & Engagement
- Champion employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives.
- Support programs focused on employee wellbeing, recognition, communication, and inclusion.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee queries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and a positive employee experience.
