At Oxford Saïd, we are investing in a bold new vision for executive coaching – creating a centralised coaching function that will support students, executives, clients and alumni across one of the world's leading business schools.

We are seeking an experienced and credible Lead Coach to join our newly established Executive Coaching team and play a key role in delivering this vision.

This is an opportunity to influence the future of coaching at scale, working with senior leaders, programme directors, faculty and an exceptional community of coaches while helping shape a distinctive coaching proposition for Oxford Saïd.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Executive Coaching, you will act as a lead practitioner and trusted advisor, ensuring coaching excellence across a portfolio of programmes including MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education.

You will work closely with programme teams to design and deliver impactful coaching experiences, oversee coach deployment and quality assurance, and ensure coaching is fully integrated into the learning journey.

This role combines executive coaching expertise with stakeholder engagement, programme leadership and strategic development. You will help build the systems, processes and coaching community that will enable Oxford Saïd to deliver exceptional coaching experiences at scale.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead Coaching Excellence

• Act as Lead Coach across a portfolio of programmes, ensuring coaching interventions are impactful, evidence-based and aligned with programme outcomes.
• Partner with Programme Leaders
• Collaborate with Programme Directors, Faculty and Programme Managers to design coaching approaches that enhance learning, leadership development and participant experience.
• Build and Support a World-Class Coaching Community
• Work closely with a growing network of external executive coaches, supporting selection, onboarding, quality assurance and community engagement.
• Influence Strategic Development
• Help shape the future of executive coaching at Oxford Saïd by contributing to new processes, programme innovation and the development of a scalable coaching infrastructure.

Deliver Executive Coaching

Provide executive coaching directly to programme participants where required, supporting leaders at different career stages and across diverse sectors and geographies.

Who We Are Looking For

You will be an experienced executive coach with strong professional credibility and a passion for helping individuals and organisations achieve meaningful development outcomes.

You are likely to bring:

• Professional executive coaching qualifications and accreditation.
• Significant experience delivering executive coaching to senior professionals and leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to operate confidently within complex, fast-moving environments.
• A commitment to coaching excellence, continuous professional development and quality assurance.
• A collaborative and consultative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.

Experience within leadership development, executive education, business schools, professional services, organisational development or talent development environments would be particularly valuable.

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly formed team with the backing of the School Leadership Team and play a central role in creating a coaching function that will support more than 1,400 coaching interventions annually across degree programmes and executive education.
