The role involves administration support to the People Business Partner who is responsible for the effective overall delivery of the People function within the Natur depots. Support for Natur Plant Managers and the operational management teams providing an all-round HR service including but not limited to recruitment, training, ER management and advice, and generic admin on a day-to-day basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting the People Business Partner with delivery of the Natur UK People Plan
- Updating SAP (including exception management for HQ teams), Workday and training records
- Administering recruitment processes, including advertising, liaising with agencies where appropriate along with scheduling and supporting interviews as required
- Support depots with providing HR advice, guidance and best practice whilst considering employment legislation and internal policy and procedure
- Administration for new starters, leavers and contractual changes including offer letters, contracts, new starter packs, processing new starter paperwork and arranging pre-employment medicals
- Management of sickness absence and attrition reporting within the depots and supporting the sites with reducing their overall sickness absences levels and increased retention of colleagues
- Supporting sites with employee relations matters
- Management of Employee engagement initiatives
- Delivering inductions for new starters
- Delivering training where appropriate and supporting sites in identifying training needs
- Creating communications with colleagues including letters and emails of a confidential nature
- Communication with the Payroll team to ensure validity of data and submission of payroll required admin to support smooth and timely payroll processing each month
- Recording absences and supporting with clearing exceptions, ensuring the necessary paperwork has been completed, such as self-certificates, return to work forms and annual leave requests
- Updating and maintaining personnel records
- Management of systemic filing
- Generating & circulating HR reports as necessary
- Communication with external service providers to ensure business commitments in terms of health, training and ad hoc requests are managed effectively
- Handling organisation of meetings, visits and training sessions on site including booking rooms and catering
- Organising travel, accommodation, taxis, and restaurants as and when needed
- Ordering stationery & meeting room consumables as necessary
- Process work orders & shopping carts on SAP
- Providing administrative support to the depots as and when required
- Undertaking a range of other admin duties as and when required
- Undertake any other duties as requested by their Line Manager in accordance with the scope and the responsibilities of the role
Recommended Personal Profile:
- Academic qualifications: GCSE – Maths and English
- CIPD level 3 or above desirable
- Professional experience: Experience of working within/supporting a blue-collar environment desirable
- IT skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; SAP experience desirable
