To support in the management of the Mechanical maintenance department to ensure:
- highest standards of H&S are continually followed
- legislative compliance is fulfilled
- best practice maintenance techniques are utilized to provide highest possible asset availability
Specific Tasks: (this list is not exhaustive)
- Maintenance operations
- Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance tasks in responsibility area and other areas when needed
- Preparation of preventative, corrective and shutdown works
- Ensure that urgent work order will be raised and given to maintenance in case of breakdown situation or urgent maintenance activities.
- Shutdown work in own responsibility area or workshops as needed
- Act as work group leader for external resources as needed
- Request sign on of permits and isolations from production
- Communicate and collect information of production problems from production teams
- Inform solid line supervisor of any changes of assigned work or problems at work progress
- Support Area Engineers or Area Responsible in troubleshooting as needed
Additional responsibilities for Shift: (this list is not exhaustive)
- Shift fitters will be utilized as first resources for maintenance activities, which have the potential to shut down production line or have a major/severe safety impact or risk to cause reportable environmental event
- Responsible for communication between production and maintenance outside office hours
- First point of contact for production outside office hours
- Perform minor maintenance activities
- Report all shift maintenance activities into Maximo
- Ensure production is aware of all maintenance activities and progress of maintenance tasks.
- Trouble shooting of issues
- Support production teams in troubleshooting, when required
