You will be responsible for leading the site Quality and Environmental master plans, ensuring the maintenance and development of systems and processes to meet the requirements of BRCGS, FSC, ISO 14001 & 9001 ensuring the delivered product consistently meets customer requirements and expectations, with Safety at the forefront of all activities within the site.
- Ensure compliance with specific external and internal standards including BRCGS, FSC, ISO 14001 & 9001.
- Manage and improve procedures, documentation & auditing of the quality management systems.
- Work closely with operational and technical colleagues to ensure understanding and responsibilities.
- Provide and communicate accurate and timely Quality and Environmental data to the wider management team.
- Implement, perform, and ensure adherence to the site auditing schedule; any findings being addressed, closed, and communicated back to the relevant business area in a timely manner.
- Process and investigate customer complaints, managing the process for any corrective and preventative action. Publish analysis of complaint causes by type and business area. Drive down ENC and CNQ.
- Develop, execute and improve Quality and Environmental processes and activities with the emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Execute team briefs and maintain/update Quality and Environmental performance data.
- Develop and manage short- and long-term strategy, Quality and Environmental objectives, and KPI's.
- Continuously develop your own knowledge and best practice through networking with colleagues at other sites, and by keeping abreast of industry and legislative developments.
- Adhere to general housekeeping and hygiene rules ensuring the wider team always maintain a clean, tidy and organised environment.
- Carry out any reasonable task within the business as required.

Skills
- Extensive experience of developing and managing QM systems and audit processes with previous experience of management standards (BRCGS, ISO14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & FSC).
- Qualified lead auditor.
Experience
- At least 2 years' experience in a Quality and Environmental role preferably within a print/packaging manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in print/packaging industry a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
