Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work as part of a team to produce high quality corrugated packaging in line with customer order specifications.
  • To comply and operate within the Health and Safety at Work regulations by maintaining own personal safety and that of other team members.
  • To contribute to the overall profitability of the site by minimising waste and machine downtime.
  • To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the Plant to increase productivity and minimise accidents.
  • To participate in cross functional projects as part of ongoing continuous improvement projects.
  • To liaise and communicate with Shift Supervisors and the Conversion Manager on an ad hoc basis.
  • To meet on time delivery targets.
  • To continuously self-develop through job training programmes and other Company learning and development opportunities.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience and willingness to work a flexible shift pattern to include three shifts is essential.
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing techniques and terminology such as (SMED, 5S etc.).
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven, high tech environment.
