Job Summary
Finance and Administration Manager at Saica Natur, a division of Saica Group, responsible for the production of Management Accounts for the depot, forecasting, credit control, accruals, and stakeholder management. The role also includes the smooth running of the office’s administrative functions and people management.
Responsibilities
- The timely and accurate preparation of all management accounts for the depot (post‑qualified).
- Preparation of monthly accruals and journals (expenses).
- Liaise with credit control to record and manage bad debt.
- Provision of accurate and timely forecasting.
- Annual budget preparation.
- Analysis of variance and recommendations against budget vs. actual.
- People‑management of administrators and operational staff, including performance management, appraisals, payroll and HR issues.
- Stakeholder management.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest continuous improvements.
- Report on commercial financial data as required by the business area.
- Work with internal systems: SAP, PRIMSA, Webcycle.
- Assist external and internal auditors during periodic audits.
- Accurate recording of drivers and production staff hours, overtime, holiday, and other absences for HR and payroll.
- Issue purchase orders on SAP and match them to the corresponding incoming invoices.
- Monthly update of depot paper/plastic prices on PRISMA.
- Ensure the smooth running of the office, controlling ordering of stationery, canteen supplies and PPE.
- Manage and support the team to complete all monthly administration tasks, ensuring that all jobs are confirmed, correct weights added, invoiced, and that third‑party invoices are paid.
- Develop and maintain administrative processes and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the line manager within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
- University education with Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (required).
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar, or working towards qualification.
- Managing a small team and ability to work across all business areas.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in forecasting.
- Experience in credit control.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, Saica Payroll and Prisma.
Additional Training
Specific training in specialised functions will be provided.
