Main tasks/ Responsibilities
- To support in the management of the Mechanical maintenance department to ensure:
- highest standards of H&S are continually followed
- legislative compliance is fulfilled
- best practice maintenance techniques are utilized to provide highest possible asset availability
Health & Safety
- Follow the Site H&S procedures, practices and propose improvements
- Lead H&S investigations
- Undertake allocated H&S actions
Environmental
- Responsible for environmental aspects in own area.
- Follow the site environmental procedures, practices and propose improvements
Quality
- Ensure site quality critical equipment is maintained to relevant Mechanical standard
- Suggest innovations to ensure customer satisfaction is guaranteed
- Audit quality of site maintenance activities
Maintenance Operations Support Area
- Responsible and Engineer in daily activities including planning
- Spare parts; Identify requirements, alternative options and technical specifications in line with process
- Provide required information and proposed solutions to shutdown leader of shutdown plan changes during a shutdown
- Participate in on-call support
Reliability
- Facilitate and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- Support integration of a reliability centered maintenance program
- Create action plan with Area Responsible and mill reliability specialist based on data analyses and studies
- Cost awareness of area maintenance activities
Minimum requirements
- Academic Qualification: Just graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar.
- Experience: maximum of two years working experience since the graduation. International experiences (Erasmus, ...) is a plus.
