SAIC is seeking an ABMS CMCC Functional Area Manager to support an exciting Air Force program out of Hampton/Langley, VA. (There is an option for a hybrid-remote work schedule, allowing up to one (1) day/week from a remote location. We are targeting local candidates).
Qualified candidates will support Air Combat Command leadership, managing and improving Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Common Mission Control Center (CMCC) processes, procedures, and doctrine; manning levels; efficiency and effectiveness; equipment capabilities; training requirements. Our SMEs will also support the integration of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) with Joint and Coalition partners, identification of employment and integration solutions within Joint and Service Doctrine; propose Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP), develop concepts of operation, and manage the CMCC readiness program. Our experts will attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings, conferences, working groups, symposiums, experimentation, and development and provide speaking/writing support as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen, actively possess a Top Secret Clearance and have the ability to obtain TS/SCI and Special Access eligibility.
- Bachelor's and fourteen (14) or Master's and twelve (12) years; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Command and Control (C2), operations center, and training systems experience.
- National security experience work in USAF C2, operations center, and training systems.
- MAJCOM or higher staff experience of at least 3 years.
- Former Air Battle Manager or other rated aircrew with relevant C2 experience.
- 10 years C2 operations experience as a 13B or 1C OR Minimum of 10 years of DCGS experience as a 14N.
- 3 years' experience working on an Air Force higher headquarters (HAF, MAJCOM and NAF) staff environment producing decision documents, presenting briefings, building staff packages, coordinating with other staff personnel, working with other major command elements, and interfacing with USAF staffs.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as a project and/or program manager with demonstrated ability to perform as a senior level expert and serve as a senior project lead.
- Experience conducting planning, execution, and integration support in addition to document development and review; (i.e., Concepts, Roadmaps, Core Function Support Plans, Joint and Service Doctrine, Capability Requirements Documents, Requirements Working Groups, Task Training Lists, Mission Essential Tasks etc.)
