About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to oversee and grow operations across two of our vibrant pub branches.
This hands-on management role suits someone who understands both the operational and commercial sides of hospitality. You will develop the business across both sites, identify growth opportunities, and ensure each branch thrives as a destination in its own right.
Our Business
Our two branches offer distinct but complementary hospitality experiences. One is a genuine village local that blends traditional British pub hospitality with a taste of Nepal, offering pub classics alongside freshly cooked Nepalese dishes, including momo, curries, and clay-oven specialities. With live sports coverage, a family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere, on-site parking, and a strong local following, it is a pub with real character and broad appeal.
The other is a well-established venue in a thriving local area. Together, these two sites offer a unique opportunity for a commercially minded manager to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to develop the business
- Take overall management responsibility for both branches, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue, footfall, and brand presence across both sites
- Identify new business opportunities, including events, functions, and community engagement
- Manage, motivate, and develop teams at both locations
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and report on key metrics
- Maintain high standards of food, drink, service, and compliance with licensing and hygiene regulations
- Build strong relationships with local communities, suppliers, and stakeholders
