We are recruiting a Full Time Support Worker to work with one of our prestigious clients based in the NG24 area.

Key Information

  • Location: Newark (NG24)
  • Driving: You must have access to your own vehicle
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Shifts: Rot a-based shifts including days, nights, and weekends
  • Pay:
  • Days pay: £12.71 p/hr
  • Weekends pay: £13.21 p/hr
  • Nights pay: £13.21 p/hr
  • Sleep-in nights: If you do sleep-ins on the night shift you will be paid £21.21 p/hr

In This Role You Will Be Required To

  • Provide day-to-day, person-centred support to individuals with Autism and mental health needs, in line with individual support plans
  • Support service users with daily routines, including morning and evening support, personal care (where required), and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Plan, prepare, and cook traditional English meals, encouraging service user involvement where appropriate
  • Promote independence, life skills, and personal choice, supporting individuals to achieve personal goals
  • Support service users to access the community, attend appointments, and take part in activities and hobbies that match their interests
  • Build positive, professional relationships that promote dignity, respect, and emotional wellbeing
  • Provide emotional reassurance and mental health support, responding appropriately to behaviours that may challenge
  • Administer or support with medication in line with training and organisational policies
  • Complete daily records, handovers, incident reports, and care documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, families, and external professionals, including the local authority
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and care standards at all times
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the service across all shifts

Requirements Of The Candidate

  • You must have a valid and in-date Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Relevant training and experience supporting individuals with Autism and mental health needs
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to cook traditional English meals
  • Reliable, professional, and flexible
  • Full-time availability, including weekends and night shifts on a rota basis
  • Willingness to attend an interview in Stoke (ST4)
  • Able to start work around 19 January 2026
  • Willing to share hobbies and interests to allow appropriate matching with service users
