The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
To take the responsibility as Registered Manager for a single/group of services under the direction of the Operations Manager. To ensure all aspects of the services meet with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & The Care Act 2014 and the requirements of CQC, together with all other relative legislative requirements.
To provide a needs led service to adults with a learning disability by adopting a person centred approach that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices.
Develop a positive working environment which nurtures and rewards good practice through a program of training and development. To ensure good quality working relationships are built and maintained between staff and the service users they are supporting.
Ensure staff attend all mandatory and refresher training. Where necessary ensure that all disciplinary and grievance procedures are carried out in line with company policy and statutory requirements. Ensure staff adhere to the GCSS Codes of Practice and rules, policies and procedures contained in the Staff Handbook.
Quality Management
Ensure the service is run in line with statutory and Sahara Care policies and procedures. Ensure processes are in place and adhered to in line with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Undertake monthly Quality Assessment Audits to ensure a continuously improving service is provided.
Financial
Manage delegated budgets to ensure resources are used to best effect, in line with company policy and procedure. Report financial discrepancies to the Area Manager. Ensure staff work and comply with financial systems in line with company policies, procedures and guidelines. Ensure information is collated and recorded in line with Quality Assessment System and CQC requirements. Manage the appropriate maintenance of records and personal information in line with the Data Protection Act and to the standards required by Information Governance. Ensure that all policies and procedures related to the running of the service are adhered to. Ensure staff team completes H&S training as required.
To evaluate the risks of, and to protect Service Users from threats to their health, welfare and normal developments from inside and outside the service. Complete risk assessments for staff, the service and individuals living there. At all times work within the company’s H&S policy and procedures.
Person Centred Plans, Health Action Plans
To create and develop links between the service and the local community.

Requirements
- 2 years Registered Manager experience and currently working as Registered Manager of a Learning Disability Care Home (Registered for 10 or more beds either at one service or across multi-sites)
- Current Home needs to be CQC rated Good or above
- 4 years recent and significant experience of working with adults with Learning disabilities and complex needs and has good experience of working with behaviours that challenge as well as health related conditions
- Experience in managing LD residential or supporting living services
- Desirable: D1 driving license
