A very exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team to help provide support to our residents at our service in Middlesbrough. Working in an environment dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support, and resettlement, you will support people living with mental health issues and similar needs. Your responsibilities will include assessing needs, building trust, enabling residents, and helping them live independently. You will get to know your residents, enhance their social integration, encourage participation in social and leisure activities, and assist with their support needs and practical daily living tasks.

Shift Pattern: Rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.

You should naturally work in a manner aligned with Salvation Army Homes' values, demonstrating understanding, patience, pride in your work, and the ability to build strong relationships. Experience working with homeless or vulnerable people, understanding of support and funding facilities, and comfort dealing with complex situations are desirable. The role may require on-call shifts, including nights, on a rota basis.
