The Role

We are looking for a Night Concierge worker to provide a waking, overnight on-site presence in the Service, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of 26 young men aged 18-25 years old.

You will instinctively work in a manner that aligns fully with Salvations Army Homes values and behaviours, demonstrating energy and passion, along with a positive can-do attitude in your contribution as a night concierge to transforming lives.

You will be part of a passionate and committed team dedicated to transforming lives and helping individuals achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Engage and build supportive relationships with residents who live in the service.
  • Actively engage residents in understanding the service and their responsibilities under their Licence Agreement and Good Neighbour Agreement.
  • Responding to emergency situations and contacting the appropriate emergency services when required.
  • Ensure the safety of residents and the security of the building by monitoring CCTV, complete Health & Safety Checks & patrols.
  • Respond promptly to reports of property repairs and maintenance issues within the accommodation, following appropriate procedures.

Working Arrangements

  • Service based at The Limes, Longsight, Manchester
  • Rota based includes weekends (working 4 days on/4 days off, shift times 10pm - 8am)
  • The Night Concierge Role is a Lone Working Role
