About the Role
As a Patient Booking Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating outpatient appointments and supporting the smooth delivery of our clinics. You will manage patient bookings, backfill cancellations, and maintain accurate pathway records using Trust systems. Working closely with clinical and operational teams, you will help ensure clinics run efficiently and patients are seen in a timely manner. This role is essential to maximising capacity and reducing waiting times.
Key Responsibilities
- Book outpatient appointments and procedure sessions
- Actively backfill cancellations to maximise clinic utilisation
- Maintain accurate patient records on Trust systems
- Liaise with patients, clinicians, and Trust teams professionally
- Support pathway coordination, scheduling, and tracking activity
- Contribute to efficient service delivery and patient experience
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous NHS administrative or patient booking experience
