Sagentia Aviation have an opportunity for a qualified and State approved Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) designer, joining as a Senior Consultant who would be interested in working across both civil and military projects. As a Senior IFP Designer you’ll provide IFP design and aviation safety skills to clients and assist in the improvement of aviation (flight) safety and development of business growth.
We’d like you to have substantial knowledge in IFP design, having completed the Air Navigation Institute (ANI) Basic and Advanced Courses (or equivalent) and IFP design apprenticeship period, preferably with previous aviation experience, air traffic management, aviation safety or air systems operation to be considered for this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe IFP Designer will be responsible for technical leadership and business development of civilian airport projects with the opportunity to work across a wide variety of civil projects from safeguarding, procedures review through to new design. You’ll be involved in delivering civil airport review and design reports, user and operational requirement reports. Experience in planning, delivery and execution of projects including provision of innovative solutions to our clients and including hazard identification meetings and safety case advice together with our Safety Subject Matter Experts (SME).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Completed a recognised course in IFP Procedure Design iaw PANS OPS Doc 8168.
- Be a United Kingdom CAA Approved Procedure Designer.
- Have Instrument Flight Procedures published in a State Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).
