Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a sharp, detail-driven Market & Competitor Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you\’ll become our go-to expert on market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry shifts across B2B Accounting & Financial Management, ERP, HCM, and Payroll software sectors. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions in product development, sales, marketing, and executive leadership. If you\’re passionate about turning complex data into actionable strategies and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a proactive Market & Competitor Intelligence Analyst who’s passionate about turning data into strategy. In this role, you’ll lead in-depth market analysis—tracking trends, sizing, growth forecasts, and new opportunities across core and adjacent segments. You’ll stay ahead of industry developments by monitoring publications, analyst reports, regulations, and emerging technologies. You’ll also map market-share dynamics, positioning trends, and go‑to‑market tactics across our competitive landscape. As our competitive intelligence expert, you’ll build and maintain detailed profiles of both established and emerging rivals, tracking their positioning, partnerships, product releases, acquisitions, and strategic moves. Your insights—delivered through impactful dashboards, briefings, and reports—will inform product, sales, marketing, and leadership decisions. Collaborating across functions, you’ll present intelligence at strategic meetings and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, and previous experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business analysis—ideally within B2B software, SaaS, or enterprise tech. Exposure to accounting, HR, or ERP software is a real plus. You’ll bring strong technical skills—advanced Excel and PowerPoint, confidence with market research platforms, and familiarity with data‑visualisation tools like Tableau or PowerBI. You understand SaaS business models and the broader enterprise software ecosystem. You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and able to take complex data and distil it into clear, actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication are a given, as is intellectual curiosity and a passion for market dynamics. You thrive working independently and collaboratively, are highly organised, and consistently meet deadlines in fast‑paced environments.
What’s in it for you?

- Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year
- On-going training and professional development
