The Global Record to Report (R2R) Senior Director has global accountability for the leadership, operational delivery and transformation of Sage's Record to Report function. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled financial reporting across all markets, including month-end close, statutory accounts, audit support and integration of acquisitions into Sage's global standards. This leader will build and inspire a high-performing global team, drive consistent and scalable processes, strengthen the control environment and partner effectively across Finance and the wider business to deliver a best-in-class R2R service, and drive automation and transformation where it makes sense to do so.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior member of the Financial Control team, contributing to the global Finance strategy and driving the agenda for operational excellence across R2R.
- Own the global month-end close and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate, complete and audit-ready results are delivered to agreed timelines. This includes R2R process taxonomy, process architecture and target operating model defining process scope, standards, governance, KPIs, controls framework and end-to-end process ownership.
- Lead and continually strengthen the R2R process and control environment, embedding a culture of accountability, quality and proactive risk management.
- Build trusted relationships with upstream and downstream stakeholders to resolve issues, improve hand-offs and ensure end-to-end process ownership.
- Sponsorship of the global R2R transformation agenda, ensuring process design, technology investments, operating model changes and continuous improvement initiatives remain aligned to Sage's broader Finance strategy and target operating model.
- Own the statutory accounts delivery framework, including planning, governance, stakeholder management and formal sign-off processes.
- Partner with internal and external audit teams to ensure clear audit plans, timely delivery of evidence and effective resolution of audit findings.
- Build a resilient and scalable global R2R capability, including succession planning, workforce interoperability, cross-training, professional development, qualification standards and the reduction of key-person dependencies.
