Sage’s Medium Segment Business Operations team are trusted partners in bringing product and business ambitions to reality. The team designs and executes the operational strategy for the top initiatives within a high growth business unit. We are looking for a Program Manager with a track record of solving complex and cross functional business challenges to join the team. This candidate will design and execute the programs set by the Medium Segment governance committee, utilizing the operational strategies set by the Business Operations leader. Our ideal candidate has experience thinking out of the box to solve challenges within the SaaS industry, designing and executing complex plans to completion and remotely leading large teams across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate ideas and opportunities, assess needs, and design operational strategy and cross-functional alignment on product, marketing, and business aspects of the plan.
  • Lead cross-functional groups (across sales, service, marketing, product, content, finance, legal, BI/Ops) through collaboration and advocacy to evaluate ideas, move workstreams forward, meet deadlines, and ensure alignment throughout the process.
  • Create and lead executive presentations and communications on top business unit initiatives.
  • Ensure that all business operations plans are delivered on-time and on-strategy by enabling and driving communication and execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively manage quality control of deliverable messaging and positioning with a holistic understanding of the project scope, removing escalations to ensure cohesive and on-time market entry.
  • Leverage the business operations strategy to create and execute project plans, tailoring as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements while managing the operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Act as a hyper-collaborative and strategic partner that can lead through influence by building strong relationships and personal credibility across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in program management, product management or commercialization management, or related experience is strongly preferred.
  • Robust project management skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion and build strong teams.
  • Strategic thinker that learns through discovery and isn’t afraid to fail fast, have their ideas challenged.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment to identify and evaluate complex problems and implement solutions.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to handle challenging conversations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Experience designing and leading senior executive SteerCo presentations and communications.
  • Task and deadline-oriented with the ability to identify and communicate any gaps or roadblocks, and to set priorities proactively and quickly.
  • Focused on results while keeping the desired outcomes and goals top of mind.
  • Able to gain alignment and drive action through effective communication and influence.
  • Must possess exceptional organization, time management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS and/or ERP industry experience launching products and propositions.
