About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Product Manager to lead the in-product subscription management and pricing experience. In this role, you’ll own how customers, accountants, and partners understand, manage, and evolve their relationship with our products—from choosing a plan to managing renewals, upgrades, and cancellations. You’ll be responsible for building seamless subscription flows and shaping pricing and packaging strategies that align with customer value and drive sustainable growth. By applying product-led growth (PLG) tactics, you’ll ensure users experience value quickly, convert naturally, and expand through self-service. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong product management professional to define and execute best-in-market products, driving global success for Sage. You’ll lead end-to-end product innovation—from ideation through launch—while supporting revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for subscription management and pricing.
Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement: Translate customer insights into product requirements; build strong relationships across engineering, design, marketing, finance, and commercial teams.
Delivery & Lifecycle Management: Own the product from requirements through launch and in-life management.
Governance & KPIs: Participate in governance forums to ensure delivery against KPIs (P&L, NPS, regional/channel growth).
Growth & Technical Collaboration: Drive business growth using ROI, revenue, and NPS insights; collaborate with engineering to build scalable solutions.
Advocacy & Communication: Represent the product internally and externally, including analysts, customers, partners, and industry events.
Roadmap Management: Create, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps; manage change rigorously.
Methodology & Tools: Apply best practices using tools like Aha, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
Conversion & Expansion: Identify opportunities to convert free or lower-tier users and collaborate with growth marketing to build in-product loops for acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
