Key Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Enablement Apprentice, you’ll support the tools, processes, content and programmes that help recruiters and hiring managers perform at their best. Projects you may get involved in:

  • Support the administration and analysis of Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Partner survey programmes
  • Assist with compiling and reporting recruitment insights and key performance metrics
  • Maintain, audit and continuously improve our SharePoint sites, knowledge hubs and enablement resources
  • Create engaging content, guides, templates and learning resources for hiring managers and recruiters
  • Update process documentation and ensure knowledge articles remain accurate and current
  • Coordinate and schedule monthly learning events, workshops and Power Hour sessions
  • Support the rollout and continuous improvement of global onboarding programmes
  • Help design and build AI‑powered solutions, including AI agents and prompt libraries for Talent Acquisition teams and hiring manager communities
  • Monitor data quality within recruitment systems and identify opportunities for improvement

What we are looking for

We welcome applications from people who are at the start of their career and ready to learn. You don’t need a degree or prior experience in Talent Acquisition, what matters most is your passion for people, your curiosity, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for how teams work.

To meet the entry requirements for the Level 5 apprenticeship, you’ll need:

  • Five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, including English and Maths
  • Plus one of the following: 3 A‑levels, a Level 3 Apprenticeship or vocational qualification — ideally in Business Studies, People Practice, or a related vocational subject

Beyond that, you’ll stand out if you:

  • Have strong organisational skills and enjoy creating structure, documentation and checklists
  • Possess basic Excel skills, including sorting, filtering and simple formulas
  • Have an analytical mindset and enjoy working with data
  • Demonstrate curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with a desire to explore, experiment and learn
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, with the interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • Enjoy researching solutions independently and finding answers to new challenges
  • Have strong written communication skills and an eye for creating engaging content and presentations

Alongside your day‑to‑day role, you’ll study towards the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, delivered as a Level 5 apprenticeship. The programme is designed to give you both the people practice grounding and the commercial awareness to design and deliver learning that drives real performance improvement.

By the time you complete the programme, you’ll have a strong foundation in talent acquisition, people operations and enablement, giving you the skills and professional credibility to further your career.

Working at Sage you will also benefit from:

  • Five paid volunteering days each year through Sage Foundation
  • Access to learning platforms, expert‑led sessions and a global professional network
  • A clear career pathway with opportunities to grow once your apprenticeship is complete
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, competitive pension and more

What to expect from the process

  • Apply online with your CV
  • If eligible, you will be invited to complete a video interview
  • If successful, you’ll be invited to a final stage assessment
  • Successful candidates will join us in October 2026

We’re committed to an inclusive process for everyone. If you need any adjustments at any stage, please get in touch.
