Be the force that turns strategy into reality. At Sage, strategy only matters if it lands. As Orchestration Director, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our bold growth ambitions translate into measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible leadership role at the heart of Sage’s most important transformation programmes — bringing clarity, pace, and executional excellence to initiatives that shape our future. You’ll operate as the central coordination point for strategic delivery within the Growth function, orchestrating complex programmes across the UKIA region and selected global initiatives such as incorporating Agentic AI across Sage products. Working across functions, markets, and leadership teams, you’ll ensure alignment, accountability, and confidence in delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Orchestration & Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end orchestration of Sage’s most critical growth programmes, turning strategic intent into executional reality. Drive excellence, consistency, and pace in delivery across multiple, interconnected initiatives. Ensure programmes are aligned to business priorities and deliver clear, measurable impact (revenue, customer value, and time‑to‑market). Directly lead selected UKIA strategic initiatives, embedding strong delivery before transitioning ownership to permanent business leaders.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, and inspire a small, high‑performing team of Orchestration Managers. Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Act as a trusted coach and thought leader, raising delivery capability across the organisation. Provide interim leadership on strategic initiatives to ensure continuity and momentum.
- Governance, Visibility & Reporting: Own the operational cadence for key programmes, ensuring clear governance and leadership confidence. Create and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that surface progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. Ensure leaders have the insight they need to make timely, informed decisions.
- Cross‑Functional Alignment: Partner with senior stakeholders across Product Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Finance, and Communications. Influence priorities and decisions through structured communication, data‑led insight, and pragmatic problem‑solving. Break down silos across regions and functions to drive shared accountability and progress.
- Continuous Improvement & Standardisation: Design and embed scalable delivery frameworks, tools, and operating rhythms. Simplify complexity and enable repeatable, high‑quality execution through Agile and modern delivery practices.
