Base pay range

Editorial Assistant – 12 month fixed-term contract - £29,000 starting salary with an increase to £31,100 on successful completion of probation period.

The Hybrid & Open Access Journals Editorial department is a vibrant and dynamic team of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about research and publishing. We are responsible for developing and growing a diverse portfolio of high-quality, valuable journals across the social sciences, STEM fields, and various business models to adapt to a changing market. Our collaborative efforts with external editors, society partners, and internal colleagues in editorial, marketing, and product innovation roles ensure the growth, success, and long-term sustainability of our programme. Your New Role
As an Editorial Assistant in the Hybrid Journals team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our journals. You’ll provide high-quality administrative and editorial support to external editors and publishing partners as well as internal teams.
The role includes ensuring journal records are up to date, reports are compiled accurately and punctually, and queries from authors and partners are handled efficiently.
You\'ll work with global teams to deliver excellent service. You will also contribute to projects that support journal development and growth.
