We are seeking an experienced Corporate PR Manager to play a critical role in shaping and protecting Sage’s external reputation in the UK and internationally. The role is responsible for delivering high-impact corporate PR activity across traditional media, thought leadership, social and digital channels, and integrated global campaigns – with demonstrated experience of using AI tools to deliver efficiencies.
The successful candidate will bring strong corporate, financial and executive communications experience, operating confidently with senior leaders, Investor Relations, Finance, and Public Affairs. They will be a journalist‑calibre writer, capable of translating complex business, financial and technology topics – including AI and innovation – into compelling external narratives that support Sage’s commercial and reputational goals. This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week from our London office.
Summary of role: This role is focused on shaping and protecting Sage’s external reputation across the UK and key international markets. As Corporate PR Manager, you’ll lead high-impact corporate communications activity across media, thought leadership, social and digital channels, helping position Sage as a leading global technology business. The role combines strategic communications, executive engagement and reputation management, with a strong focus on translating complex financial, technology and AI‑related topics into compelling external stories.
What I will be doing: You’ll lead and coordinate Corporate PR activity across multiple regions, ensuring messaging is aligned to Sage’s wider communications and reputation strategy. This includes managing proactive and reactive media engagement, developing integrated PR campaigns and supporting key Public Affairs priorities and external events. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, Investor Relations, Finance and Public Affairs teams to support corporate and financial communications, while helping protect Sage’s reputation as a FTSE‑listed technology company. A key part of the role will involve creating executive thought leadership content, including speeches, articles, blogs and social media content that brings Sage’s strategy, innovation and AI story to life. You’ll also manage agency relationships, provide guidance and frameworks for regional PR teams, and help drive greater efficiency and impact through the use of AI tools and modern communications practices.
What we are looking for: We’re looking for an experienced Corporate PR professional with a strong background in corporate communications, financial communications and executive positioning, ideally within a large international or listed business. You should be confident operating with senior stakeholders and able to manage sensitive or high‑profile communications with professionalism and sound judgement. Essential – prior experience in financial results and M&A for FTSE 100 companies, as well as the ability to translate financial results into media programmes and stakeholder communications. You’ll be an excellent writer with the ability to turn complex business, financial and technology topics into engaging, clear and commercially relevant narratives. Strong media relations experience, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with experience delivering integrated communications campaigns across traditional and digital channels. Experience using AI tools to improve communications processes and output would also be highly valuable.
