We are looking for a passionate and driven graduate to join the CEO’s Office at Sage, the UK’s leading tech giant and a FTSE100 company. In this unique role, you will be positioned at the heart of the company with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the most strategic and transformation activities.
The CEO Office serves the CEO in achieving the company’s goals and objectives. This role provides a unique opportunity to rotate across the key business areas of Strategy, Data & Transformation and M&A, giving you a comprehensive understanding of our business strategy, data analysis techniques, and process improvement methodologies. You\’ll also gain practical experience across these key areas: change management, project management, or business analysis.
You must have a strong appetite for developing into a transformation leader and be comfortable challenging the status quo, learning on the job, and operating in a highly complex, challenging, and fast-paced environment.
As well as on-the-job learning, we also encourage all our colleagues to make an impact in their local communities, by giving them five fully paid days per year to volunteer, fundraise, or do other charitable work through Sage Foundation.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle office.
What will the programme look like?
You will collaborate closely with the CEO Office leadership team, supporting strategic projects and assisting with industry research, data analysis, synthesizing complex information, identifying market trends, and communicating findings and recommendations effectively to inform strategic decisions.
Summary of the Role
- Champion a Sage-first, outcome-focused, results-driven mindset at all times
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation priorities. This might involve tasks like creating timelines, tracking progress, and managing communication with stakeholders
- Support setting and monitoring corporate goals to ensure strategic progress aligns with the OKR framework
- Support with preparing clear and concise updates on strategy, progress, and initiatives for Board, CEO, and leadership teams
- Support with developing clear and compelling communications for customers and colleagues on Sage\’s strategy and transformation journey
- Analyse data to identify trends, root causes, and actionable recommendations. Leverage industry best practices to challenge the status quo
- Support and facilitate governance of CEO Office including any offsites, team meetings, all hands
- Take meticulous notes and facilitate action implementation for the CEO Office leadership team. Develop meeting agendas and prepare materials for optimal efficiency
