About our Team

You’ll be leading Sage’s global Corporate Sales team at a pivotal moment of growth and innovation. This small but highly supported team partners closely with academic and corporate customers, product leaders, editorial colleagues, and specialist AI/licensing experts to bring Sage and Liebert’s world‑class research content to new and emerging markets. Working alongside our Chief Commercial Officer and senior leaders across Product, Editorial, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Operations, you’ll help shape how Sage expands into corporate, government, and healthcare environments. This is a collaborative, outward‑facing team that thrives on insight, partnership, and building scalable, sustainable commercial models for the future.

Your new role

This is a brand‑new leadership role in a brand‑new market, an opportunity to build, grow, and elevate a dedicated global corporate revenue stream for Sage. You will develop and drive the strategy and execution that takes our existing corporate efforts to an entirely new level. You’ll lead and grow a specialist global team, own our most complex and high‑value opportunities, and shape how Sage monetises content and research solutions across corporate, government, and healthcare sectors. Your work will directly influence how Sage positions itself in advanced use cases, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise licensing, and emerging AI‑driven models.

  • Lead global corporate revenue growth by expanding Sage’s presence across hospitals, AMCs, research institutes, pharma, biotech, and corporate R&D organisations.
  • Drive strategic engagement with federal government agencies and research bodies to unlock long‑term commercial opportunities.
  • Translate global strategy into clear, actionable annual plans, including segmentation, ideal customer profiles, target accounts, and revenue priorities.
  • Provide deep market insight to shape commercial decisions, product direction, and portfolio strategy across Research Sales.
  • Own and close the largest, most complex enterprise opportunities, including multi‑site and global agreements.
  • Lead high‑stakes enterprise negotiations that deliver sustainable, commercially sound agreements with long‑term impact.
  • Develop, coach, and empower a high‑performing global specialist sales team, fostering consultative selling, enterprise negotiation, and value‑based renewal excellence.
  • Build and nurture senior‑level relationships across library leadership, research leadership, procurement, clinical education, R&D, and knowledge management.
