We play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment platform, ensuring that our publishing process remains seamless. We closely collaborate with various departments to drive project work, product improvements, and build efficient processes, encouraging an environment of continuous improvement.
Your new role
As an Operations Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting Sage’s journals portfolio by maintaining and enhancing our licensing & payment platform. Your work ensures smooth publishing processes and an exceptional experience for authors and customers. You’ll contribute to platform development, support Open Access agreements, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Provide clear, timely, and professional responses to customer queries, ensuring every interaction prioritises customer experience.
- Partner with institutions and consortia to implement sales deals and progressive agreements.
- Become a trusted expert on platforms, monitoring processes and raising issues when needed.
- Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and deliver training that supports excellent customer service.
- Analyse data to uncover trends, inform decisions, and evaluate Open Access performance.
- Coordinate projects, meetings, and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Contribute to improving processes and creating efficiencies.
