About our Team: The Commercial Sales and Professional Media team plays a critical role in driving revenue growth through advertising and custom publishing solutions. We manage a complex buyer journey, ensuring high-impact sales performance. Our remit includes both traditional and digital sales channels, with a strong focus on innovation, customer experience, and global expansion. We are a dynamic team of professionals committed to delivering innovative advertising and content sponsorship solutions across the publishing landscape. With team members based in the UK, US, APAC, and India, we bring diverse perspectives and deep market knowledge to everything we do. We work in close partnership with Editorial, Marketing, Production, Product Innovation, and Technology teams to align sales strategies with content development and platform capabilities.

Requirements
- A digital marketing professional, with experience driving audience growth and leading digital campaigns that deliver results.
- Strong analytically, with experience interpreting audience data and building strategy and performance.
- Experienced with B2B multi-channel marketing, ideally within life sciences or academic publishing.
- Proficient in handling Customer Data Platforms and Microsoft Office tools to support marketing execution.
- Knowledgeable of the full sales and marketing cycle, including promotion, material, and campaign creation that supports sales teams.
- An active partner who excels in multifaceted environment and communicates confidently with collaborators.
Your new role
You will play a pivotal role in our strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring our marketing efforts are data-driven and impactful.
- Using data to understand audience behaviour and identify new segments.
- Driving growth through targeted strategies across email, social, paid media, and partnerships.
- Developing and leading multi-channel campaigns that boost brand awareness, increase conversions, and support acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Crafting content for SEO, email, and social platforms, working closely with creators to align messaging with audience needs.
- Tracking campaign performance, running A/B tests, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve results.
- Discovering fresh marketing strategies and techniques to boost revenue.
- Collaborating across editorial, sales, and creative teams to deliver coordinated marketing initiatives.
