We are looking for people who want more than just a paycheck from their summer.

Our Summer Sales and Marketing Assistant programme is designed to be immersive. Over a minimum of three months, you will be integrated into our front-end operations, learning how we represent clients and drive market share. You will be part of a high-energy team environment where the focus is on hitting targets, refining communication styles, and understanding the mechanics of the Birmingham business landscape.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Managing face-to-face interactions to build brand awareness.
  • Learning and applying sales techniques to meet daily and weekly goals.
  • Tracking and reporting on territory performance.
  • Participating in daily morning briefings and skill-building workshops.
  • Working collaboratively within a team to ensure campaign success.

What You Will Gain

This is an entry level sales and marketing experience role, but the skills you develop are universal. By the end of the summer, you will have sharpened your:

  • Professional communication and public speaking skills.
  • Sales fundamentals and negotiation tactics.
  • Commercial awareness and marketing exposure.
  • Leadership behaviours and self-management.
  • Goal setting and professional habit formation.

What We Are Looking For

We do not look for a specific degree or a long list of previous roles. We look for people who are based in Birmingham or the West Midlands and are ready to work hard. You should be:

  • A natural communicator who enjoys working with people.
  • Ambitious and motivated by hitting targets.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in your approach.
  • Keen to learn and open to constructive feedback.
  • Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the summer.

  • A £1,000 completion bonus, payable at the end of the 3-month period.

To qualify for the bonus, you must complete the full agreed summer period, meet clearly defined performance expectations, and have no extended periods of leave during the programme. While this starts as a full time summer role, we are always looking for future talent. Candidates who excel during their summer contract may be offered the chance to transition into permanent full-time or part-time graduate opportunities and student opportunities from September onwards.
