If you are based in Birmingham or the West Midlands and want to build a genuine career in sales, this is where you start. No experience? That is completely fine. We would rather meet someone who is motivated, communicates well and is ready to learn than someone who simply ticks a box on paper.

At Sage, we teach you the skills that actually get you paid and support you every step of the way. Your first weeks are built around real training, real mentoring and real client work, not endless theory. You will earn a guaranteed weekly base from day one, learn from experienced team leaders who genuinely want you to succeed, and see your confidence and earnings grow as you do.

For the right people, this is a career, not just a job, with a clear path towards team leadership and campaign management. We are more interested in finding reliable, motivated people who communicate well, enjoy working with others and are prepared to develop through practical experience. Previous sales experience is not essential.

What the role involves:

  • Representing client campaigns through direct, face to face customer engagement
  • Speaking with potential customers and understanding their individual needs
  • Explaining products, services and campaign information clearly
  • Building positive customer relationships and representing brands professionally
  • Supporting customer acquisition and client growth objectives
  • Learning sales communication, presentation and objection handling techniques
  • Reviewing personal performance with mentors and team leaders
  • Contributing to a positive and productive team environment

Training and development:

New starters receive structured training covering customer communication, campaign knowledge, sales processes and professional development. You will work alongside experienced colleagues while gradually taking on more responsibility. Coaching is practical and ongoing, allowing you to apply what you learn during live campaigns rather than relying entirely on classroom based theory. For people who demonstrate strong results, reliability and the ability to support others, there is scope to develop towards team leadership and campaign management responsibilities.

Who could be a good fit:

This position may suit someone with experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, recruitment, sport or another customer facing environment. Applications are also welcomed from graduates, career changers and people looking to gain their first substantial experience within sales or business development.

You should be:

  • Comfortable starting conversations with new people
  • Clear and professional when communicating
  • Reliable and consistent in your work
  • Open to coaching and constructive feedback
  • Motivated by goals and personal improvement
  • Able to work from our Birmingham City Centre location

What Sage offers:

  • Guaranteed weekly base pay starting from £400
  • Commission of £40 to £70 per completed sale
  • Full introductory training
  • Ongoing coaching and performance support
  • Monday to Friday working schedule
  • Experience across customer acquisition and brand representation
  • Development opportunities based on performance and consistency
  • Regular team activities and a supportive working environment
