Overview
In this role you will lead Sage's integrated corporate and reputation communications, partnering with the executive team to shape strategy and strengthen trust among colleagues, media, investors and other stakeholders. You will provide strategic counsel on major decisions, manage crisis and issues, and align multiple communications disciplines to deliver a coherent narrative. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, leveraging data and AI to improve decision-making and effectiveness. This is a high-visibility role that shapes how Sage is perceived during transformation and growth.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver integrated corporate and reputation communications strategy with executive leadership
- Advise senior leaders on significant business decisions and high-profile moments
- Lead proactive corporate and financial communications to strengthen Sage's reputation
- Provide counsel on issues, crisis communications, and risk management
- Coordinate across Brand & Corporate Affairs, People, Finance, Investor Relations, Legal and Strategy
- Develop and lead a multidisciplinary team across corporate, financial, and colleague communications
- Use data, insights and AI to improve decision-making, prioritisation and communications effectiveness
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate/colleague/reputation or integrated communications within a large, complex organization
- Proven ability to operate at executive level and advise senior leaders on sensitive issues
- Strong business understanding paired with excellent storytelling and communications skills
- Leadership experience; ability to unite different disciplines around shared outcomes
- Experience in a global, matrixed or listed organization with major financial or corporate communications
