About the role: An in‑house Litigation Solicitor at Sage Homes specialising in Housing Management, you will provide expert legal advice and represent the business in housing‑related legal proceedings. The role involves managing a varied caseload, supporting internal teams, and ensuring compliance across housing, tenancy, and leasehold matters. The role is based in our Northampton office. We offer hybrid working with three days per week in the office and two days from home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior housing management on risks, policy, and housing law matters.
- Manage and oversee housing litigation cases, including those referred to external legal partners.
- Draft and prepare legal documentation for County Court and First Tier Tribunal proceedings.
- Conduct advocacy on routine matters and attend court hearings as required.
- Deliver training to internal teams on legal and regulatory housing requirements.
- Manage a busy caseload, ensuring deadlines and performance targets are consistently met.
