About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise and Solutions Architect to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of both an Enterprise Architect and a Solutions Architect, focusing on designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions that align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Experience in the housing association industry is highly desirable. This role can be located in either our Northampton or London office with hybrid working arrangements of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards.
  • Manage architectural dependencies and ensure seamless integration of various systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the current architecture, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture solutions register, tracking key details for each solution, such as suitability, contract duration, costs, and overlap with other solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation.

About you

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in the housing association industry is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TOGAF or other relevant architecture certification.
  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, data management, and cybersecurity principles.
