About the role
Sage Homes is looking for a skilled Communications Manager to help deliver clear, accessible and engaging written communications across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will produce and coordinate customer, internal and corporate communications, ensuring everything reflects our tone of voice and brand. You will draft a wide range of materials, gather stories from colleagues, support teams with copy, and help maintain high standards across all written content. This role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, requiring strong writing skills, sound judgement and the confidence to advise colleagues on effective communication approaches. The role is based in our Northampton office, with regular travel to our London office. We offer hybrid working with three days per week in either office and two days from home.
Responsibilities include
- Customer Communications
- Produce clear, accurate and accessible customer communications across the full customer journey.
- Draft and update letters, emails, newsletters and other customer‑facing materials.
- Identify gaps or pain points in communication and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with customer‑facing teams to ensure consistent and timely messaging.
- Support customer experience projects with high-quality written content.
- Internal Communications
- Lead internal communications activity and create engaging content for colleagues.
- Work across regions and teams to source stories, updates, case studies and imagery.
- Draft intranet articles, updates and messages for staff.
- Support internal campaigns and contribute to colleague engagement.
- Act as the Communications Team lead for Sage Together, our colleague group.
- Corporate Communications
- Manage content development for the Annual Report and other corporate publications.
- Produce written materials for corporate and stakeholder‑facing documents.
