Job Description

At Sage, we're redefining how solution design works in an AI-first world.

We're building a new Solution Design capability within Domain Services, creating a profession that combines the strongest elements of business analysis, solution design and detailed product ownership. As a Solution Designer, you'll play a central role in shaping how ideas become scalable, reliable solutions that power products used by businesses around the world. Working at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Architecture, you'll take agreed product outcomes and transform them into clear, coherent, traceable solutions that teams can build with confidence. You'll lead discovery, model complex business and technical processes, maintain living specifications and ensure solutions remain aligned from concept through to delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at an early stage, helping define new ways of working, influence best practice and shape the future of solution design at Sage.

Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Newcastle office.

You'll help shape an evolving profession, influence how solution design is practised in an AI-first environment and work on complex platform capabilities that support products across Sage. You'll collaborate with experienced product, engineering and architecture teams while helping establish standards, approaches and reusable patterns that will scale across the organisation.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, turning ambiguity into clarity and building solutions that make a meaningful impact, you'll find plenty of opportunity here. At Sage, we believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes. We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experiences, and we're more interested in the evidence of what you've achieved than the title you've held previously.
